About the Photographer

Picture
My name is Chelsea Davis, aka Chelvis. I grew up in San Diego, CA and have enjoyed wildlife for many years. I currently work full time as a Wildlife Conservation Biologist and work on many different projects. Understanding the changing human dynamics and wildlife conflict I hope to bring about a change to help both human and wildlife flourish into the coming years. I prefer to listen to the problem on both sides of the issue and see if there is a common ground.

I took up photography as a hobby in 2010 and I cannot stress enough that I am an amateur photographer and do it purely for the love of it. I entered a few contest locally getting some attention there but in 2013 I got my first DSLR and things really took off. With support of family and friends I decided to offer some of my best work up for sale.

Being dedicated to conservation I wanted to make sure that my work had personal meaning as well. Each photo has a story of that species and what can be done to help protect it. I have been lucky to have some amazing opportunities and I wish to share them with everyone else.

So enjoy the photos and feel free to drop me a line if you are interested in something different then what is shown here.
